Mobile Wallet Fraud
Vodafone Cash, Orange Cash, Etisalat Cash, and Fawry are the primary mobile payment targets. Scammers call pretending to be from the mobile operator, claiming the victim has won a prize or that their wallet needs "verification." They request PINs, OTPs, or guide victims through USSD codes that transfer their balance.

Never share OTPs, PINs, or activation codes with anyone. Mobile operators do not conduct prize giveaways via phone calls requesting verification codes.

Social Media Commerce Scams
